Travel & Lodging

This year, hundreds of our allies will converge on Louisville by plane, bus, van, or car. The closest airport is Louisville International – Standiford Field Airport (SDF). If you are interested in carpooling with others from your area, please contact workers@ciw-online.org.

The Louisville Boycott Committee has arranged free housing (mostly floor space at area churches) for a limited number of individuals or groups traveling to Louisville. If you are interested in reserving a spot, please contact workers@ciw-online.org or 239-657-8311 with your name, contact info., which nights you will need lodging, and any special needs you may have. We will try our best to accommodate you and your group.

MARCH START SITE: Resurrection Chapel
4601 Poplar Level Rd.
Louisville, KY 40213

From I-264 (Henry Watterson Expressway), take Poplar Level Rd. exit (exit #14), go south on Poplar Level Rd. for 1 mile, look for “Guardian Angels Catholic Community” sign on your left (at intersection of Poplar Level Rd. and Gilmore Ln). Turn left into next driveway to park. You may leave your car parked here during march and rally.

11:00 – 12:00 PM MARCH TO YUM BRANDS (1.5 miles)

North on Poplar Level Rd. for 1 mile, turn right onto Gardiner Ln, end at Yum Brands

12:00 PM RALLY OUTSIDE OF YUM BRANDS’ HEADQUARTERS!
