What to Bring
Day Marchers
- comfortable walking shoes
- a good pair of socks
- light, comfortable clothing (temperatures will be in the 80s)
- hat or cap
- sunglasses
- water bottle with carrying case or clip
- sunscreen
- lightweight signs, banners or artwork that is visible to passing cars and pedestrians
- drums, musical instruments or noise makers that you are able to carry with you all day
- camera
- parking instructions and march contact numbers
- money for parking garage (when applicable)
- Sunday only: blanket or camp chair for the rally and concert at Munn Park
- Your energy, good spirits and willingness to contribute and have fun while
respecting the leadership of Immokalee's farmworkers!
Additional items for national/statewide allies marching for multiple days
- sleeping bag
- camping pad and camping pillow
- fast-drying travel towel
- toiletries and other personal items
- ear plugs if you are a light sleeper (sleeping arrangments will be shared)
- extra socks
- mole skin or band-aids (if you are prone to blisters)
- information to share from your group or organization
- extra business cards
Please note: We encourage you to travel light, as each morning we will be loading all luggage into buses or vans.
