As Louisville, Chicago, Atlanta, Columbus, and many
other communities across the country prepare for the
2005 Taco Bell Truth Tour, Immokalee isn't about to
be outdone. On Sunday, February 6, workers filled
the street in Immokalee for the annual "Year
of the Worker" party. After all, every year in
Immokalee is a Year of the Worker.
Without a doubt, this year's party was the biggest
ever featuring clowns, live music, and the comedic
stylings of not one, but two, Spanish television
celebrities: Fernando Arau, a staple of Year of the
Worker parties past, and a new addition to the lineup
-- Don Francisco, Señor TV himself and host
of the much-loved variety show, Sabado Gigante.
