With just a week to go before the Workers’ Voice Tour hits the road, farmworkers in Immokalee are putting the finishing touches on gorgeous new puppets and banners, collecting cold weather gear, and packing their bags for the 10-day tour. Meanwhile, thousands of allies across the country are finalizing their own travel plans to join the Tour at various stops along the way. And it’s on that latter note that we have several important final updates to share on how you can join us over the next two weeks!
First up, be sure to check out the brand-new detailed schedule on the Tour website, where you can see all the ins and outs of the major tour actions and events. And if you’ve already got plans to join us, great! Just make sure to let us know that you’re coming — and how many friends, family, and community members you’re bringing — by registering.
If you would love to come, but don’t yet have a ride… have no fear. The Fair Food Nation has rustled up an impressive list of caravans from all corners of the Northeast, Midwest and South converging on the major stops of the tour — and there is still space left!
