Over 100 farmworkers and students from the University of Florida got together in Gainesville on Sunday, Feb. 4, to protest in front of Taco Bell. The action launched a month of protests at university Taco Bell restaurants, kicking off the CIW's "Taco Bell Truth Tour".

University of Florida students began circulating a petition on Sunday calling for the school to remove Taco Bell from the University of Florida campus unless Taco Bell agrees to meet with CIW representatives and take substantive action to improve wages and working conditions for the farmworkers who pick their tomatoes.

By the end of the day they already had collected over 200 signatures!
